We live in such a chaotic world. Everyone wants revenue to fund their own endeavors. I want us ALL to have revenue to expand our endeavors. I know without a doubt that we reap what we sow. This truth reflects the Divine Law of Cause and Effect, better known as karma.

I also know that our collective belief in the scarcity principle is the only reason we have lack on this planet. Therefore, I do not seek to sow anything but goodness for everyone I associate with. I firmly believe in win – win and implement it in my business dealings consistently. I want to know what works for my homeowners, what works for my investor clients, what works for me, too, and implement that strategy.

I believe that there are specific situations whereby a quicker liquidation of properties that no longer serve the owner’s big picture is a viable solution. I also believe that this quicker closing and repair delegation is not the right choice for every homeowner. My task as a wholesaler is to ascertain those specific right situations without trying to push anyone into anything. The homeowners who truly need help are the ones I love to assist, getting them as high a sales price as I can while simplifying their repair issues and also giving my investors a solid return on their investment. I love providing an unencumbered feeling of freedom in homeowners getting to move forward with their lives. I also love helping my investors build their real estate portfolios and wealth. And finally, I love the deal making aspect that real estate provides my sense of accomplishment with.

As an empathic introvert I learned long ago that the best way to still my internal squirming over having to put myself “out there” into the sales arena was to simply yet resolutely make it “not about me”. The calm descends within that stance. This subtle shift in focus creates a win – win result of me not having to sell myself but instead shift the focus to selling my investor clients exactly what they want and need. This simple agenda of finding out what people need and then supplying it has been firmly steering my ship for the length of my sales career. Therefore, the simple question of “What do you want?” becomes our guiding North Star, our prosperity compass. This is true of every person involved in a real estate transaction: owner, investor, wholesaler.

As an aside, don’t believe that “nice humans finish last’. I can sincerely tell you that a sound moral compass has been the key to my success in every financial services or sales job I ever had. I can also tell you that a strong moral compass has been the edge that meant I became top revenue producer consistently when I worked within corporate America and within my own businesses.

Let me ask you a quick question: Can you tell when someone is trying to con you? Of course you can. Well, so can those we do business with. I have also discovered that that moral compass is a rarity to such a degree that it really is quite astounding. I excel because of my moral code when the world says it isn’t possible simply because I invite Divine Providence in within my own thinking and behaviors. The truth is the righteous hearts that remain are rare in this world. But always remember that old adage of sales: “People buy from those they like and trust.” Therefore, striving to be sincerely likeable and trustworthy is a big key to sales and transactions of all kinds.
