My name is Deana DeHaven. Welcome to my bio page. I am happy you are here.
In late 2025, I completed the National and Colorado State portions of real estate school through Kaplan Real Estate Education, having earned all 6 certificates required for Colorado State licensure. I also have completed a comprehensive transaction coordinating class in preparation to work as a transaction coordinator and have received the completion certificate for that class, as well.
Previously, I worked within business brokerage and fed 3 firms 4 to 8 deals per day consecutively for 7 years from 2015 to 2022. I stepped away from business brokerage, closing my own business, on July 12th, 2022. At that time, half of all small to medium privately held businesses had closed their doors permanently due to Covid.
I helped build 3 firms simultaneously by providing client outreach and bringing my business brokerage clients business owners that wanted to sell. My sweet spot was privately held businesses with an average $2M to $9M annual gross per business.
One firm that I worked with, The Bristol Group, headquartered in Boise, Idaho, grew their outreach from 1 state to 19 states, partially due to my efforts. Of course, appropriate, responsible follow up is required on their part.
But, due to my organizational and communication skills, as well as my intuitive abilities, I was able to help my clients expand their reach, create brand awareness, and helped them expand their businesses through a procedural protocol I created that provided results for my business brokerage clients by utilizing specific, consistent parameters that produced results consistently.
After Covid devastated the business brokerage market, I went on to support myself as an artist and writer for the next 2.5 years, publishing my first book through Barnes and Noble Press and expanding my artistic work utilizing real farm raised butterflies to create numerous products.
The opportunity to invest my business brokerage experience, organizational and communication skills as well as my intuitive abilities within the real estate industry came about quite organically when Keller Williams offered me a scholarship to real estate school.
I also discovered that I was not interested in becoming a realtor right away. Instead, I was drawn to transaction coordinating. I really enjoy creating win/win scenarios that benefit all parties and I love to support, encourage and help others. Helping create mutual success is so rewarding for me.
Transaction coordination suits my studious, meticulous nature. I like to build systems that work for all parties, my brokerage clients, their clients, and me. I am deeply invested in win /win ideology and implementation. I really enjoy helping others succeed and I am smart enough to know that when my broker clients succeed, I succeed as well. For me, it is all about the win for all parties involved. I know that people do business with those they like and trust. Therefore, I do everything I can to assure that people like us, trust us, and come back to us again and again.
Here is a testimonial from one of my business brokerage clients to prove my organizational and communication skills from his perspective:
May 13th, 2018.
“My experience with Consummate Call has been excellent. I have found Deana to be professional, reliable and productive. She has created a system that produces results. When I call her leads, my first call to the business owner doesn’t feel like a first call because the company overview that she provides and the credibility that she has built with the owner allow me to get right to work. For these reasons, I have used and expect to continue to use Consummate Call.”
